We are Powhatan Equine Rescue League, a 501(c)3 pending organization in Virginia. We pull horses from slaughter auctions and help abused and neglected horses. We are fundraising to purchase a round pen and to pull more horses from auction, as well cover all the necessary expenses, including transportation and vet care.
