Campaign Story
Rita is a lively 9 year old girl from Quazon City, and she has a little sister.
This year's January she got diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, after lot collapses and body pain cycles. The disease makes white blood cells useless and can lead to illnesses in many body parts. In St Luke's medical center, we were advised to choose chemotherapy, but if that is not enough, a very expensive and difficult bone marrow transplant has to be made. She is currently battling with the worsening condition daily, and she is becoming too weak to walk or push herself up. Rita needs daily care and a cure has to work for her.
Our family's financial situation is very bad, even if we can cover the hospital bills, extra chemotherapy and bone marrow surgery could be very expensive. Every contribution counts for us. Help Rita life a normal child's life.
