Bianca is your typical bubbly, friendly and cheerful teenager, Back then she weighed around 88 Kilos and has been the chubby type ever since. Until last July when she started complaining about back pains, difficulty in breathing and feverish feeling at nighttime. She was initially diagnosed and treated for Pneumonia based on her X-ray results. But last August, they saw that fluids started to form around her heart and had to undergo removal of the fluid. She was also given anti TB medication for her pulmonary tuberculosis.

Come November, she again started complaining about back pains and constant coughing at night time. It became too hard for her to sleep and had to sit down to somehow get some short naps. We brought her back to the hospital and they saw that there's fluid again on her heart and lungs. Her Chest CT scan showed a large mass just beside her heart that causes blocking of her main arteries around her heart and lungs. Abdominal CT scan also showed lymph nodes on the back right side of her stomach. The doctors immediately asked for the Biopsy and results showed that she had HIGH GRADE TYPE B NON HODGKIN LYMPHOMA. Physical and lab tests showed that it has grown rapidly and is now stage 4. She lost 10 kilos in just 2 weeks.

The doctors recommend that we had to do an aggressive 6 cycle chemo treatment which would entail Oral, IV and Spine chemo. She would have to be confined for 6 to 8 days per cycle every 21 days. They advised us to prepare at least 200,000 pesos ( $4000 usd) per cycle to cover for the chemo drugs excluding other medical expenses that we would incur during confinement. Total cost of medicines for the 6 cycle is $28,000. She is currently confined at Philippine Childrens Medical Center, a government run facility that specializes cancer treatment for kids.

Bianca came from a poor family that earns roughly $2 a day from her dad who works as a tricycle driver and mom who gets paid by doing laundry for some of their neighbors. She also have 3 younger sisters which restricts them from getting the much needed medical attention for her condition.

This season, Please help us in saving the life of our precious Bianca. We pray for your good and compassionate heart to spare blessings and grace to help her get the treatment she needs. Thank you and may our Lord bless you back 1000 fold for your good deed.
