Dear friends from all over..my name is Sasha from Sabah, Malaysia. I am running a cultural village called Monsopiad Heritage Village located in Penampang district about 20minutes away from Kota Kinabalu city.

Monsopiad Heritage Village was built on the 1st of May 1996 (25years) to commemorate Monsopiad the kadazan warrior at Kampung Kuai, Kandazon. We are functioning as an educational center for local and international tourists as well as students who wishes to do their research on Monsopiad and the kadazan culture and customs.

Our buildings are mostly built using natural resources such as nipah leaves, bamboos, rumbiah wood, rattan and other natural materials to maintain its authenticity. But ever since covid19 hit the whole world, it has been a big struggle for us to maintain the buildings, landscape and our beloved animals (adopted stray cats and dogs).

If our goal is achieved, we would be grateful if we could restructure or build new building to document our items properly without worrying about damages caused by rain and the sun.

We do hope that with this kind of donations we can continue to sustain and keep this place running and alive again..it is a struggle each day to find ways and means to keep going but i believe that the whole world will recover soon and we can stop asking for help and give way to other people who needs more help than us..

Please help us save our Cultural Heritage Village..we will forever be grateful for any of your help regardless what amount. Thank you.

Regards, Sasha S.
