Help us save our baby Nasya Emmanuella

A blessed day everyone!

We are reaching out for help for our little warrior, baby Nasya Emmanuella Eugenio Quilicol.
Baby Nasya is the daughter of Vivian and Emmanuel.

At 26 weeks of pregnancy, Mommy Vivian suffered from complications of preeclampsia and congestive heart failure. From her hometown in Balanga City, Bataan, she was transferred to Philippine Children’s Medical Center in Quezon City so that her and baby can be given better medical care.

On August 29, 2019, baby Nasya was born, weighing 630 grams, premature at only 27 weeks. She was immediately intubated and hooked on a mechanical ventilator to support her breathing.

On day 3, baby Nasha developed pneumonia on her right lung and was started on antibiotics. Day by day she fought, and we fought with her through fervent prayers. However, yesterday ( day 8), her condition started to decline. Her right lung collapsed (pneumothorax), and an incision had to be done on her side to release the air. She also needed blood transfusion. By night time, she had become unstable. The oxygen levels in her body and her heart rate went dangerously low.

We urgently asked all our friends and relatives to pray. At this point, we may have been praying for a miracle but we believe that nothing is impossible through Christ our Saviour.

Baby Nasya made it through the night. We received updates from mommy Vivian that baby’s O2 sats are now at 70-80 (from 49), and heart rate increased from 90 to 139-150. This shows us the power of prayer. Praise God!

The fight is far from over, we have only just begun. With her prematurity, she will most likely need to stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for the next 2-3 months.
With this in consideration, we are knocking on your generous hearts to help with baby Nasya’s financial needs.

Her daily expenses can amount to 20k-40k each day and resources are draining fast. Any amount, given with a happy heart, is greatly appreciated.
