Help us rebuild our workshop

Hi everybody

We are a family of four from Petrinja, Croatia, have 2 small children ( ages 6 and 4) and have a small family based wooden toy and ornaments business. On 28th and 29th December 2020. an earthquake of significant and devastating magnitude 6.4 struck Petrinja and surrounding regions in Croatia. Many buildings have collapsed and our town almost doesn’t exist anymore. This had a devastating effect on so many families, loosing their homes and jobs.

My name is Vanja Kozina and this campaign is about helping me rebuild our workhouse where me and my wife make wooden toys that make kids around the world happy. It is severely damaged and not safe to use at the moment so we don't have a proper place to continue our work. We also lost a house where we lived till few months ago, but thankfully have roof above our head, but as I said, workhouse is most important to us since it brings money to our family.

I know that people want to help, but they don’t want to give money for fear of it going into the wrong hands. And the organisations that people are donating to are only partially getting to the people who really need it.

This campaign will help my family to continue with work that help us bring food on our table, pay bills and buy clothes and other necessities for our kids.

Our goal is to get a working container since statics said it's safer to get one then to build brick type work house. I will keep you updated and all the investments will be transparent and documented.

Please help us reach our goal and provide hope for us for a better tomorrow after this heart-breaking disaster that hit my family.
