Help Us Rebuild Lombok

Over 2 weeks have past since the first 2 big Earthquake that shocked us all. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to have abated with another 7.0 earthquake on the 20th of August. Our team and our projects remain safe and well in southern Lombok.

Whilst it has been a few weeks full of fear and heartbreak, this has also been a time of community and hope. Seeing the way people have come together to bring support to our neighbours in North Lombok has been one of the most beautiful and humbling experiences of our life.

In South Lombok we are safe and have suffered very little damage, but the reality just a few hours drive away is very different. Together Local People, Local businesses, expats and tourists in South Lombok are doing whatever they can to bring support to our neighbours in the North.

We have joined together with a community in North Lombok to help to rebuild and improve on a small school in a remote village in North Lombok and we have teamed up with Mataram University to create a sustainable agriculture project in the same town. Now that the aid requirements are under control its time to rebuild!

Any donors will be kept up to date as we rebuild. We will not be giving any funds to third parties and we will work with the local community to make sure all money is used effectively. Our first fund raiser now has over IDR50,000,000 (https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/lombokeart...).
