Help us raise funds for Tetchie’s radiation therapy

Our dear friend, Tetchie Aquino, has recently been told by her doctor that her brain tumor is back.

She had her first brain operation in February 2018. Her tumor was growing outside her brain membrane and its growth is pushing the left side of her brain causing temporary paralysis in her right leg and so surgery was the best option then according to her neurosurgeon.

For the past few years, she has been having seizures and it has become more frequent this year. After a series of tests and MRIs, she was told her brain tumor is back. It is still small to be surgically removed but big enough for the MRI to pick up. She has been given two options: (1) wait for it to grow more (probably in 3 years), then surgically remove it together with the healthy vein it is attached to OR (2) radiation therapy.

With the risk of being operated on again, she opted for radiation therapy that should start as soon as possible. The entire therapy will last for 27 sessions and hopefully, before she celebrates her 40^th birthday this year, she will be tumor-free.
