Help low-income families bereaved by COVID overcome their loss

Each death to COVID is a tragedy that could have been avoided. With the vicious second wave of coronavirus wreaking havoc across India, the daily fatality number has now crossed 2,500+ and is expected to rise in the coming weeks.

Many of my friends and local community members are dying, their children's are being rendered helpless due to poverty and helplessness by the loss of working members of their family

For many heartbroken families, these numbers represent important, able, working members whose departure will also leave them financially bereft - especially so for those already struggling to make ends meet.

Goal:

As they adjust to their new reality - to try and ease the pain for the first few weeks - I and my friends are trying to raise some money in order to relieve their pain in some form.

We would like to provide them with some initial amount to reinstate their lives temporarily if not permanently

till they can find stable support.

We know the pain of losing someone and having seen it firsthand this is my final try to get some source of funding for those who could still be helped, students who can't pay for tuition, mothers who can't provide food for their kids, and disheartened families trying to find a living wager to let them live even for a month or more.
