We are the Anglophone Students Association of the University of Antananarivo, Madagascar. We need your help us modernize our facilities and offer our English students a better learning experience!
Despite the increasing number of English learners at our university, we are still studying in run-down, leaking classrooms -- especially in the rainy season -- with broken chairs and windows, and our learning materials haven't changed much for the last 20 years. We are overloaded with paper handouts which are only used ONCE and not really environment-friendly.
Nowadays, young people are mostly using social media such as Facebook and Youtube, but they mainly serve as entertainment and not everybody has access to the Web in Madagascar, not mentioning the everlasting blackouts occurring on a daily basis across the country!
Because of our outdated materials, many students every year graduate with lacking basics and survival skills. We don't want that anymore. We would like to buy new books, computers and educational applications for our undergraduate classmates so they can properly do their research, homeworks and graduate without fail.
It is a long-term endeavor and we'll be really grateful if you could help us, even with the smallest donation.
Together we achieve more!
