Help Us Play in a Baskeball Tournament

We are looking to enter a basketball team in LA Watts Summer Games, which is a city wide sports tournament. The registration cost for the tournament is $150 and the cost for our team uniforms are $25 for a team of 10 boys. We are hoping that your kind donations will allow us to cover the cost for this wonderful opportunity for our students. USC Hybrid High School (HHS) is a new high school with the single goal of graduating 100% of our students on to successful college or career experiences. HHS is an independent public charter high school, authorized by the Los Angeles Unified School District. The school is located in the World Trade Center building at 350 S. Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles and opened to its first class of 130 9th graders in September of 2012. Due to our downtown location, we do not have recreational facilities. Our new Physical Education program gives students some outlet, but we would like to do more.  USC Hybrid High is a very different kind of high school. It is particularly designed to help all students graduate and go onto successful college and/or career opportunities. Our focus is on students who want to work hard toward those goals regardless of family background or previous performance or achievement in school. Our motto—No Excuses!
