Campaign Story
Ten years ago my family moved to South Africa from the Congo to search for jobs. My dad started to abuse my mom and he left us when I was only 7 years old.
Since then, my mom has been looking after my sister and I. My dad has never contributed to any fees since he left. My mother's job does not pay that well and we have been struggling for a while.
My grandmother helped my mom with the fees, but she past away of cancer last year and now we are all on our own again.
The landlord will kick us out in two days if we do not pay the rent. We have no where else to go. Please help us. Just so that we can get back on our feet.
I can't use a photo for this campaign because we are scared that my father will find us.
