It’s with a heavy heart that we now have to make one of our last posts leading up to the final closure of our shelter. During the 6 years we’ve been up and running we have achieved some tremendous results. All because of you and your undying support. Our volunteers have helped rescue, relocate and successfully promote more than 2000 animals (dogs and cats) for adoption, here in Cyprus and across Europe. Hundreds of families have opened their arms and welcomed our dogs either for a permanent home or as part of our much needed and appreciated foster programs.
As we enter this concluding phase the shelter is more than ever in need of YOUR support. As we make everything in our power to ensure our dogs fly over to their families in time, another imminent matter needs our attention. The shelter’s veterinary expenses need to be covered as soon as possible. We are thankful to Vets and experts who have selflessly helped us throughout the years. They have treated and nurtured back to health almost every dog that has been in our care. We now have to make sure that we don’t leave any unpaid fees or bills, before we close our gates for good. The reason we have outstanding vet bills is due to paying for unexpected illnesses, emergency situations and expensive medications, which unfortunately an adoption fee just doesn’t cover. Please try and donate whatever you can, no donation goes unnoticed and we are positive that with everyone’s help we will once again prove that nothing is impossible when we come together.
