Campaign Story
I hope you are all doing well. I am posting this with so much hope that you might be able to help us pay my mother’s hospital bills. My mother is a single mom and a former OFW. She worked hard her entire life in order to provide for us. Growing up I saw how she managed to rise up in every difficult situation and that made me see her as an epitome of resilience. She raised us(me and my brother) alone. I saw her struggles, but never saw her give up and I respect that so much.
Last September 02 2021, she was rushed at UST Emergency due to shortness of breath and very low oxygen saturation. She has undergone Swab Testing and the following day she was diagnosed with Severe Covid Pneumonia. On her 4th day at the hospital, the doctors decided to intubate her, as this will help her to breathe. After 2 weeks of intubation, they transferred it to her neck and it’s there up until now. This procedure is called Tracheostomy. This is to avoid bacterial infections that the patient might acquire from the foreign object that was inside her mouth down to her lungs.
As of today, it’s her 44th day at the hospital and her hospital bills are still piling up. We don’t know anymore where to get such big amount of money. We are knocking on your hearts for whatever amount you can spare to help cover my mother’s hospital bills. We wish to be with her soon. We thank you in advance and may God bless you even more.
