According to the 2018 Domestic Violence Task Force Annual Report, 13,378 women, children, and men were turned away from the Dallas network of domestic violence shelters due to lack of space. With the increase of domestic violence cases currently being reported during the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a dire need for additional emergency and transitional housing in Dallas County. The Foundation for Women's Empowerment wants to help meet the needs of an already burdened system by opening shelters for victims in Dallas, Texas.

Founded in 2011, The Foundation for Women's Empowerment (formerly Lifetime Objective of Stability & Maternal Empowerment) has served victims in the Dallas area by partnering with local area shelters, providing basic necessities for those clients. Our mission, however, is to go beyond providing basic needs to providing a 360-degree program which will empower women to reach their full potential.
