Help Us On Our Volunteering Trip To Zambia

Hi! And welcome to our fundraising story!

Zambia lies at the South of the African continent. Africa is alive with culture and history, but sadly some of the countries also struggle with extreme poverty. Zambia is such a country. Outside of Livingstone (a city in Zambia) in the rural areas, people are struggling to provide for their families, working long hours and walking 100's of miles for water, medical services and to go to school (if they have the opportunity to go). 

Growing up in Africa, we know that this picture is as real as you will see on the news and documentaries. We know that the kids there have the same dreams as the kids in any other country. We know that the parents want to desperately provide for their families.

So, the two of us are planning a mission to Zambia during July 2015 to volunteer. We are planning to learn the communities all sorts of skills, including teaching self-sustaining methods of cooking, cleaning, learning skills to the kids such as painting, dancing and singing. These skills are taught to the communities so that they can be entrepreneurs in their own villages, towns and cities, and make their own dreams come true.

Help us reach our goal of offering our skills on a volunteering mission to Zambia in July 2015.
