Help us move and set up careers!!

Hello, My name is Harlem and my girlfriends name is Laura. We have been together for three years and we have been through a lot together both good and bad times. We're both aspirational people who love going out and desire to pursue careers both within the music and the media industry. I have been involved in event photography/music for the past couple of years after recovering from a rough patch of unemployment in my life and my partner has been working hard to establish a presence as a singer/songwriter for many years. We were flatsharing in London trying to get our foot in the door in the big city, However; We came upon stony ground due to financial difficulties and ended up having to leave our home and careers behind to move to a more affordable area. Times have been difficult up here and we have found it hard to build ourselves back up even more so having to rely on benefits for support. What we are looking ahead to do is to move ourselves back into a flatshare around the London zones and find part time jobs whilst working to build up our self employment. This of course is simply unrealistic unless we had the starting funds required to set the wheels in motion. After calculating what we are looking to raise is £10,000 as we feel this would be enough to give us the break we need to move forwards in life and would be a huge start for us.

The money would be used accordingly

> Deposit, First months rent, Bills, Reference check and agency fees, Initial essentials (e.g food,
travel expenses for viewings and moving, kitchen equipment) - Approx £2500
> Photography equipment - This would be two cameras complete with essentials (e.g lense, flash, memory
cards) and a laptop capable of running photo editing software efficiently - Approx £3000
> Music equipment - Mixer, 2 microphones, Professional music editing software, A guitar and keyboard -
Approx £2000
> Self employment essentials for both music and photography - Uniform, small Office equipment (e.g
pens, paper, document wallets, printer), travel expenses for meeting clients and setting up events -
Approx £1000

Money leftover would be used for extra bills/rent/food as it is common will need time to find jobs and
sort our benefits out. Due to our current situation we are not able to offer a lot in return right now
but if we raise the money to progress we would love the opportunity to give back. Laura as a hobby loves
to cook and as I am a music producer/photographer and Laura a singer/songwriter/photographer we thought
the following would be appropriate:

> £20 - 10 free photos of your choice from our libraries
> £50 - A free photoshoot
> £100 - A free photoshoot and 1 hour photography services (Harlem) or 1 hour free gig (Laura)
