Help us meet again

Hey there everyone. My name is Patrick and I am 19 years old, living in the Netherlands. I live in a house with my parents still along with my lovely sister. My parents, mostly my dad, are quite new to all the multimedia and people online. This will be explained later on in my story.

Two years ago I felt really bad. I was depressed due to several reasons. I didn't know what to do, didn't see myself having a future at all. The only thing that really cheered me up and distracted me from everything was playing games.

One day I started searching for new games and I came across the game Gmod, a game I had heard a lot about in the past. I thought I'd give it a try and I am very happy I did. The game has a big variety of game modes with mostly really friendly people. I started searching a game mode I'd enjoy playing and that game mode happened to be DarkRP. In DarkRP you roleplay as a certain character, making it a really good distraction. The server I had joined was filled with very nice people and a great community, I felt welcomed right away. Along those people was this girl that really caught my attention. She seemed shy and mysterious, making me want to talk to her. The whole server had it's own TeamSpeak (Voice communication program) which I joined. I had been on the server for a long time and never saw the mysterious girl anymore. Until suddenly, she appeared in the TeamSpeak. We started speaking and I immediately felt happy. I didn't know getting butterflies over the internet was possible til that very moment. Her voice sounded so soothing to me that I forgot the pain I had, making me unable to get the big smile off of my face.

We continued talking and became really good friends, she had a boyfriend back then that wasn't treating her well and I was always there for her reassuring her she would be okay even though I knew I was really in love with her. I just wanted to make her smile, whether it would be with me or without me.

One day we jokingly spoke about how we don't even know what each other looked like, ending up in us both showing a picture of ourselves. The first time I saw her was really strange, it felt really warm and I started to blush. I had always been shy, but this was a whole new feeling. I felt deeper and deeper in love with her.

After a while her and her then boyfriend broke up and we got together after some time later and my depression slowly faded away; I was and still am happy. The only problem about this stunning girl is that she lives all the way across the sea in the North East of Great Brittain.

At first my parents weren't taking this relationship all that serious, until the first time I went to England. This was a month ago. I went there being really nervous, not really knowing what to expect and mostly hoping she'd be the same in person as she appeared on the internet because you never know. She ended up being even better and our first week together was the best time of my life thus far.

Me being 19 and her being 18 since last month it is really hard for us to financially make it happen that we can visit each other. I know the chances are quite slim that people donate, but I decided to make this page nontheless and hope for any donation I could possibly get. Of course I'll be updating this page with possibly pictures of when we meet or any request you'd like to have. Questions will be answered as soon as possible, I will be checking this site frequently.
