Campaign Story
Hi Everyone!
My name is Rio and this is a fundraiser for my husband, Ogilvie John "Ogie" Cordova, 34 yrs old.
After a long usual day at work, my husband, Ogie, went home to get some rest. Shortly after, he decided to drop by his brother's house for a quick meeting. A few minutes after he arrived at his brother's place, he felt difficulty breathing. Good thing he was alert so he did some self-help but decided to be rushed to the hospital after that.
At the hospital's emergency room, they did an ECG (electrocardiogram) and determined that there's something wrong with his cardiac activity. He was later transferred to Philippine Heart Center and was confirmed that he suffered a heart attack.
I as his wife, was confident that we will get through this hospitalization. However, things got worse and didn't go as planned. We were advised that an angioplasty will not work and instead, he needs to undergo triple bypass.
We agreed to gamble even though I knew that our health card will not suffice to cover the surgery since his health is our priority.
So I am knocking on your generous hearts to help us raise funds for his surgery as the hospital required us to pay half of the surgery package before proceeding.
Your donations will help prolong his life and will put him out of danger as he is at risk of having another attack.
We will forever be grateful for whatever help you extend and may the Good Lord who touched your hearts to think of us at this time continue to bless you and enrich you a thousandfold.
Thank you!
