Help Us Make It a Home Again

Hey,

its usually very hard for me to share personal information with people but I hope someone takes the time to read this because its really important to me.

28 years my parents have lived in this house you see in the pictures. 28 of love, of creating a family and seeing dreams become a reality. 18 years of that period I had the privilege of sharing it with them... I dont know what words to use to describe how much I love this place, its my home, its irreplaceable for me.

6 years ago my parents were overwhelmed by debts, it got to the point where they sought help in any way possible. The only option that remained for them was selling our home. Everything happened so fast I swear .. I remember waking up from a nap and hearing my dad on the phone, I realized then that he had sold the house in under an hour and for a price so low I'm embarrassed to even share.

My mom was so angry at him and I think she hasn't forgiven him even now.

Since we sold the house 3 new owners have come and gone, they rented us the place over the six years period and now we've found ourselves in a crossroads.

My house isn't located in the best neighborhood, its very old and it sits on the fourth floor of a story building. The house hasn't been renovated in YEARS (we couldn't afford it and the new owners wouldn't even hear of it) and with winter time the rain started coming in and it caused some major damage. Water were leaking through the walls and they ended up causing mold and fungus. The ceiling above our dinning room table was hit the hardest - it started peeling off like crazy.

The house was sold for the 4th time this week.

The new owner is pretty tough.. Lets just say he likes things done a certain way (his way) but even so we cant give up this place.

After a lot of talking he agreed to renovate the house for us, make it decent, but since a place like this needs some serious work he said he isnt willing to "put in all the money without any help" and asked if we could pay part of the sum. Get it? pay for a house that we lost and he owns! But, trust me when I say we want to but we just cant afford it.

We haven't had company over in so long because we are just ashamed by what this place has become. It hurts us to see a piece of our history falling apart like that.

This is why im here, the owner gave us until Monday, February 20th to decide if we want to pay up or walk away. He agreed to cover half if we cover the rest, which is 1000$ in your currency.

Its not long at all and to me it sounds almost crazy to be able to raise money that fast, but its the only way I could think of. If you're reading this and you got this far... Please help us. I want to make my parents happy and change our life as little as I can.

My real and actual dream is to one day be able to buy this house for them, but now while im still fresh off high-school I need time.

I need your help to make my house a home again.
