The students in the Exceptional Children’s Program at Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary School are dreaming of an Outside Learning Environment – a safe and fun place to reinforce skills being taught inside.Let’s work together to make an amazing Outside Learning Environment that allows students to develop physically and cognitively.We need your financial support to make it happen. VFLE School is in a small rural, farming community that takes pride in having a hometown feeling.VFLE is a “neighborhood” school with a student population of 615 students, a high level of students living in poverty, with 70% receiving free-reduced lunch, and 30% receiving services through the Exceptional Children’s Program.Our school is the 2 ^nd largest elementary school in the county serving students with disabilities.Most children within the program struggle daily with motor skills, cognitive skills, coordination and balance, social skills, mobility, and physical limitations.Therefore, we are in need of an outside learning environment that is ADA (American with Disabilities Act) approved and accessible for our students with disabilities.

Through our local fundraising efforts , we have raised $30,000 and have another $13,000 pledged for 2016. Every step counts!
