Help us launch: Creative Interiors with intention

We are a small startup, based in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Our mission is simple: to make a change.

But first, let me tell you a story.

In my 24 years of living, never have I thought about being involved with sketching floor plans, measuring distances and calculating project budgets. My father is an architect and I have always said that the "apple doesn't fall far from the tree" thing doesn't apply to us. But here I am, at 3 am, sketching a room for my friend Ana, because she loved the room I styled for our friend Elisa, who came to me after my renovation of Ivan's office. All of them and all the other friends I did renovations for or styled their new offices and apartments, said one thing - "This is different".

And this is what I feel in me - I feel a change. I was destined to be a graphic designer by my parents. To concur the world of business and serve my purpose by creating brand designs for big companies and important clients. During my university time I was taught to create for the masses. I was taught which colour goes well with which and how to design a poster that most people will like.

The thing is, I've grown to dislike this approach to life. I don't want to contribute to "the vast market out there". I want to create something special for people who care. I think the world is changing right now and more and more people are looking for something unique. I want to be part of that change.

Sure, there are at least 10 interior design studios in my home town, that provide the service of planning a space, creating a 3D visualisation and filling the said space with new modern furniture. And that's a business I respect. But not one I desire to be part of.

I care about the character of the space I'm styling. I care about the person who is going to use the space. I care about the experience this person will have. I care about the feeling this person's guests will get when they enter it and spend time in it. I want the furniture to be perfectly matched with the colours of the walls and then to perfectly match the decoration, not to form a perfect modern room, but to form the perfect home for exactly this person. The workspace for exactly this person. The kitchen for exactly this family, the bedroom for exactly this girl. The restaurant for exactly those people who will go to eat lunch there. I want these people to feel in their own space.

And I'm pretty passionate about this. I want to make a change. Not only in the interior design and styling world, but through the designs I make I want to make a statement. That every one of us is unique. And deserves to live in the environment as unique as them. That the world is not a mass market. The world is a huge pie of millions of slices and these slices are us. Every person is different. And the business and marketing of our time should consider that.

So we, my husband and I, are here, ready to make a change. And to have a lot of fun, along with the hard work, while making it.

We are ready to make many people smile and feel special. In their own beautiful space, designed just for them.

Help us start our little interior styling company in Sofia, Bulgaria. There is still not such thing here as what we intend to do.
