Help us keep Missy from going blind Help

Our family pets are like our children, we would do anything for them to keep them healthy, happy, and lead a full life with us. Unfortunately, an unexpected situation has happened to our 5 year old spunky, bossy, long haired chihuahua named "Miss" who is normally full of life with her curious and hillarious antics that keep us smiling even after a hectic day in the city. When we come home "missy" is there ready to take over the stress of our day and lift our spirits with her presence, and remind us what life is all about, (squeaky toys that come alive when you squeak them - this is how missy believes the world works). But recently while Missy was playing outside she must have run through some thick bush or branches and caused a serious injury to her eye. Now the injury has caused a very unsettling problem that we are hoping we can fix before it is too late. We have taken her to the local vet, but are unable to treat her due to poor financials as a result of recently closing our business and therefore cannot afford such expense. The veterneraian has told us we dont have much time to treat her, and if we wait too long the eye will not heal and this will cause her to have permanent blindness. The cost to treat her with antibiotics, medications for optical use, including prescription ointments, drops, etc. plus the costs for the procedures to check the eye's progress with special dye staining and laser equipment is going to be within the range of 1500-2000 total - including visits to the vet on a weekly basis for progress reports. She is also in a lot of pain, and so she doesnt do anything anymore except lye down in her bed and sleep. She doesnt see well so she is afraid to move around very much, and constantly whines and whimpers in her sleep as if in constant pain from the damaged cornea and surrounding nerves. Please help us help Missy get back to life again, only with the help of your generous contributions can we give Missy an opportunity to live a normal life where she can live without the handicap from having permanent blindness that will result if we cannot give her the neccessary medical treatment that she requires and soon before it is too late to fix.
