Raising Money For
Hello my name is Tristan and I am writing to request help for my wife and I. I have been unemployeed for almost a year now and we have been surviving on welfare (Ontario Works). My wife Deanna has a severe anxiety disorder. We are currently 7 and a half months pregnant and just discovered that there is now a high chance that because of Deanna's medical health issue and my financial status, that Social Services may find us unfit parents and be taking our baby Anastasia away from us at the hospital upon birth. The Canadian Mental Health Assocation just informed us of this yesterday and we are obviously extremely devistated. We need to gather more supplies and prepare for Anastasia even more than we already have to really prove that we can provide a safe and healthy life for her. It's unknown to us if I will be able to work full time or even at all and leave Anastasia to be cared for by Deanna while I'm gone. I've already run up some debt trying to avoid this situation and as another main worry, I fear if I don't get the debt paid down before she is here it will make our situation even worse. I'm desperatly asking for support and help to pay down my debt so I can focus on providing for Anastasia properly before she is born near the end of March. Please help me keep my family together and give my daughter a loving caring life.

Reason for Debt
The reason that our debt is up about $4500-5000 is because Deanna wanted to keep our baby safe. Our previous landlords fumigated our apartment for a month without notice or explanation, we found out around the 4th week that they had been fumigating, we looked up what damage it could do to the baby as well as ourselves, and we were disgusted. Deanna feared for the safety of Anastasia and recommended we stay at a hotel for a little until we could find a place to live.
We stayed at the cheapest hotel for a month, we didn't get any room service or anything special, just stayed at the hotel from November 27th to January 1st. For the first few days the hotel had us at a nightly rate, then a weekly rate, then a monthly rate[the rate changes because we originally did not have a estimated time frame of how long we were going to stay for]. The hotel had free breakfast, which we always had.
We used food banks and food donations as much as we could, to make living at the hotel as cheap as possible, but we could only get items that could be heated in the microwave or toaster, and that were non-perishable food items because we had no access to a fridge. We also use Young Activities and Support Program(YASP), which provides us with a free dinner on weeknights to save money. Deanna also has severe allergies to Onions and Fish, so we had to be very careful with what she eats. Even after being extremely careful the hotel bill still is more than we can afford.

DONATIONS WOULD BE A GREAT HELP,
Thanks for any donations in advance.
