Hello everyone, my name is Jamie. My friend Nakita and I are students at Université de Moncton in New Brunswick, Canada. This coming May, we will be travelling alongside other students from across the country to participate in a humanitarian mission to South Africa. This mission is organized through Volunteer Eco Students Abroad (VESA), an organization that establishes volunteer groups in rural regions of underdeveloped countries and gives students the opportunity to travel the world and help people in need. This fourteen day trip will allow us to aide the local residents by building kitchens and bathrooms, teaching English and basic sanitation to children, installing sustainable farming units for single mothers, and working alongside the national parks authority to help protect local endangered species through a rehabilitation, breeding and release program.

During this trip, our group will be able to change the lives of numerous people in communities that are greatly in need of help. As you may expect, the cost of a trip of this nature is significant in order to collect the proper equipment as well as travel to and from the country. These expenses must be covered by us, the participants, which is why any support from your part would be greatly appreciated by us, by the group, and by the people of South Africa.

For more information, feel free to visit VESA's website at www.vesabroad.com.

Thank you all for your time and contributions.
