Help us, help Fluffy!

Hello to anyone reading our story!

Fluffy is my eldest female rabbit, she is turning 3 years old in August 2020. Fluffy has had lots of medical problems in the past which we were able to overcome. Her history includes GI Stasis, a previous bladder infection - at the time there was no knowledge of any bladder stones.

Currently Fluffy has bladder stones (and a bladder infection), which can be caused by a numerous amount of things. As a result she is in a lot of pain and we have to travel to the vet daily for checkups and injections. As proud owner of this precious girl. I clean her litter box daily to monitor her business.

Unfortunately due to the bladder stones, Fluffy is urination blood and she is uncomfortable. However, the situation is getting better and in the past week she has improved immensely.

The only way Fluffy can keep on improving and eventually reach a healthy stage, is if we keep on taking her to the vet. Obviously, this is the plan. Currently the vet bill is heading for ZAR3000. I have to take her to the vet for the next 8 days which costs me an estimate of ZAR250 per day (only for the 2 injections she receives).

I would like to reach out to anybody who is able to help us with this. Fluffy is my baby and I care for her with all my heart. She is making a great recovery like I said but I honestly do need some help.

The picture is of Fluffy so that you can see what a beautiful gorgeous bunny she is. She has the best heart and she is my other half. She is my best friend and she's been there in the hardest times of my life. I will always stand by her and protect her with all my means possible and that is why I'm reaching out on this platform.

My Fluffy is an absolute fighter and just like any other animal in this world, she deserves to be happy and healthy.

Few things about my beautiful Fluffy:

She loves to dig and to do rollies in her playpen.

She is super friendly and is comfortable with everyone.

She loves to give kisses and to snuggle.

She has a beautiful white fur coat and blue eyes.

Fluffy is the most amazing animal that I've ever come across and she will always be the most amazing animal in my life. I am thankful for all the moments that we have been able to overcome with ease.

This bladder stones have caused so much tears and pain for us and we want Fluffy to have an exceptional and happy life. She receives daily belly rubs and fresh veggies, pellets and hay and she loves laying under her heat lamp. All I ask is that she can be able to do this without the pain of these bladder stones and the bladder infection.

Note: The bladder stones are not big enough to remove via surgery, hence we have to travel to the vet everyday to monitor everything and that the medicine is still helping. She is checked everyday to see if the bladder stones are out of her bladder and we will be traveling to the vet until they are all completely gone. This will avoid any and all future bladder infections.
