HELP US HELP BUBBLES!
Bubbles is a stray cat that on the streets of Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Philippines. We found Bubbles hungry, wounded, and very weak on the 6th of February, 2018. He was beside a trash bin of a convenience store and was patiently waiting for buyers' leftovers.
When we approached him, we immediately fell in love with him. He was very well-mannered around people. He likes to climb and tuck himself inside our bags. It's like he's telling us that he wants to go with us home!
We have been bringing him cat food and clean water every day. This helped him regain strength. We also applied first aid to his wounds and that helped a lot as well.
Last Wednesday, April 11, we were informed by the staff of the convenience store near where he is currently staying that they want to get rid of him. We talked to them however they wouldn't provide information on how or where they would relocate him, if he was ever relocated. We talked to the store's manager and asked that they give us about a month so that we can figure something out for Bubbles.
We know that we want to adopt Bubbles so that we can give him a home but our apartment landlord does not allow pets. We are currently in need of funds so that we can transfer to an apartment that would allow us to have a pet. Apartments in the Philippines usually ask for 2 months advance payment and 2 months deposit and we do not have enough money to cover the expenses. This will cost us at about $770. We also want to raise money so that we can bring Bubbles to a veterinary and provide him with the proper and expert care that he needs. Neutering him will cost $20. There will also be expenses for treating his mange and wounds, and his vaccines and vitamins.
It breaks our heart that we couldn't do anything to help him in this situation so we are asking for your help! We know that many of you would do the same thing when your furry friend is in need.
We want to thank everyone in advance for their help and support in helping us make a better home for Bubbles.
Lots of love to all hoomans,
