WHY SHOULD YOU HELP THE CHILDREN OF KABALE, UGANDA?
Education can change everything…We CAN make that a reality!
I have established this Crowdfunding page to help the children of Kabale Uganda, get a better education. Compared to the western world, they have RELATIVELY NOTHING.
I know, as a student of Coombeshead Academy that we take everything for granted as we have everything provided for us, and by comparison the children of Kabele have nothing.
My objective in providing help, “my why” for the children of Kabale, Uganda, is to help their situation by making a difference, if only a small difference.
I believe that by enabling them to have a better educational experience, will give them a better opportunity, hope, understanding and a vision of what is possible for their future.
Investing in education is a proven way to improve the health and wealth of a whole nation.
- Africa is home to 43% of the worlds out of school children. Nearly 29 million children of primary-school age were not in school in sub-Saharan Africa in 2008 – 54% of them were girls. Many children in the region will remain out of school in 2015.
- In sub-Saharan Africa, 10 million children drop out of primary school every year.
- About 38% of the region’s adults – 167 million people – still lack basic literacy skills. More than six out of ten are women.
We are looking to help in a very small way by raising funds to help provide educational facilities for under privileged children in Kabale, Uganda
Any contribution will be greatly appreciated, and especially appreciated by the children in Kabale.
Please give generously and if you can, send the link below, to as many of your friends and family that you can.
Thank you very much for taking your valuable time to read about the children of Kabale.
