Nokubonga is a ten year old girl suffering from an aggressive type of Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. She was diagnosed 3 months ago and in the past months it has spread rapidly and the chemotherapy does not seem to be helping that much. Walking has become a struggle which has led to her not being able to do basic tasks, attend school or even play with friends . Seeing her failing to do simple things breaks our hearts because everyone knows her as a busy body. She is a bubbly soul and has kept that aspect of her true self even though going through so much at such an age. Nokubonga has been undergoing treatment but the condition has worsened. All opinions say she doesnt have much time to live and needs a bone marrow transplant ASAP. The transplant doesn't determine if she will survive or not due to the progression of the leukaemia but its our only hope.

Her parents recently sought a fifth opinion and have decided its best for Nokubonga to have a bone marrow transplant. With this flickering flame of hope, Nokubonga needs to raise £15000 for travel fees as well as to pay the 1/4 of the hospital bill not covered by the medical aid. Due to the economic situation in Zimbabwe, it has been extremely difficult to raise funds on their own.
