Nagsimula sa SIPON.
(It started as pesky colds.)

My Tito (Uncle) Gary had colds that lasted for weeks. This brusko wasn't alarmed so much, because it's JUST 'sipon'. He popped a pill or 2 and he knew that it will just go away. He needed to face the complexity of the day than dwell with a petty bug that can be wiped with a piece of tissue.

"Sipon LANG to."

Days passed, he consistently complained about an aching and throbbing head, until one day, he sneezed out blood - and that's when we all realized - it's more than just 'SIPON'.

Fast forward after getting hospitalized,
a CTscan was done to check a very visible lump on his neck. Lumps of mass were seen, growing progressively near the nasal bone up to his BRAIN.

He required immediate attention. Biopsy was done twice.

Result: CANCER

Sadly, I was told that Tito Gary had already lost his right eyesight. A doctor's visit on Tues will tell us how progressive this 'BIG C' is. We will await for the advice of the doctors on how to combat this battle.

We acknowledge that this trial is not going to be easy. He is a husband and a father of 3 very young children - too young to understand what's happening around them - but fervently pray for their father's recovery.

For those who know my tito Gary, we all agree that he DESERVES a second chance in life. I know in my heart that he will put up a good fight just to make things better.
But he can't do it on his own. My uncle needs all the help he can to conquer this ordeal.

Despite the uncertainty of my uncle's situation, it's so beautiful to see how our family has come together to face this challenge. All of us are trying to help as much as we can to fund tito's ailment, thus this crowdfunding.
