Help us give Oso 🐻 a new life!

Oso Is a 13 year old pup. Ever since he was a Puppy, he has lived with an abusive owner. His owner has always been a homeless man, who is violent, and struggles with drug use. As a way to make money, Oso's owner taught him to "count" or "Solve" math problems with His barks (for example, if you ask Oso how much Is 2+2, he Will bark 4 times). Oso's owner has been seen kicking him, punching him in the face, ir screaming at him, for not performing His tricks. The abuse had been going on for years, but police was never interested enough to intervene. Many people tried to call the Man out on what he was doing, but he always turned really violent. He was never willing to give up Oso, because he lived off of the money Oso's shows on the streets Made.

Oso has been forced to live tied up, with Little food (people used to give Oso's owner Dog food, but he always ended up selling the packages, instead of feeding the Dog). Lately, someone saw him being dragged with a cord by His owner, across the streets, yelping in pain, begging him to stop. After that, another report was turned into the police office.

March 4, at 1 am, Oso was finally rescued. His owner had kicked him for not walking, and as it started to rain, left him on the streets to fend for himself. Oso was found soaking wet, hungry as can be, and in so much pain. He suffers from Hip Displasya, and has never received treatment for it. His owner did not even care about Oso's painful days, and rejected every treatment he was offered through the years, just to keep Oso working.

Now, Oso has a forever home, at our rescue, Estoy Contigo ❤️. Oso has many medical needs that need to be addressed, but our financial resources are very tight. Police turned their backs on us, and we cannot fundraise here in Colombia, because Oso's owner can find our home and turn violent towards us le him. He Is also a gang member, and as so many animals depend on us (my Mom and i) we can't risk our safety.
