Campaign Story
Hi everyone! Please meet Copito.
Copito used to be a stray Cat, living in a Small rural area in Colombia, called Neira, Caldas. He was trying to find something to eat, when someone decided to throw boiling water in His face. Copito got second degree burns around His eyes, nose, and ears.
To make things worse, Copito may also be fighting skin cancer. Copito Is an FIV positive Kitty.
Copito needs daily care, he Is taking meds, and His wounds need to be cleaned and desinfected multiple times a day. He also needs to eat a special diet. As soon as His face Is better, Copito Will need a biopsy done to confirm cancer diagnosis. Also, it's More than likely that Copito Will have to lose at least half of His left ear due to The burns.
Estoy Contigo, a Colombian foundation dedicated to rescue, care, and find loving homes for animals, has decided to house this sweet boy until he has recovered, and Will then find him a wonderful, special home. However, that day Is far away, and right now, Copito needs all The help he can get.
We Will post updates on Copito at our Facebook page Fundación Animal Estoy Contigo, and also here.
Thank you so much for supporting Copito and giving him a chance at a better life!
