Help us getting a new Roof for our center in Indonesia

INTERNATIONAL HUMANITY FOUNDATION

IHF is a non-religious, non-political, non-profit organization and half of our mission is to educate the poor and the other half is to educate the world about the poor.

We believe in a "pass it on" philosophy where education is free and available for all who seek it. Those of us who have received a free education pass it on by helping others less fortunate by teaching, interacting and learning. With just a few hours a week, our volunteers, children and sponsors are changing the world we live in.

IHF has centers in Thailand, Kenya and all over Indonesia.
In Indonesia we have 4 centers: Bali, Jakarta, Medan and Banda Aceh. Our Jakarta and Aceh centers provide homes to a small number of children, while all centers offer English, math and computer classes to disadvantaged children. With a population of over 240 million, Indonesia’s public education system often fails to give children a chance to escape the poverty they were born into. Our center in Aceh is the one that is in need of serious construction repairs and class sponsorships. This is when we apply for your support to help improve the situation in the Aceh center. 

The roof the Aceh center is in such poor conditions that when the rain fall hard (which happen a lot during the rainy season in Indonesia), there is flood areas in one classroom, sometimes during the lessons, in the living room and in one bedroom and sometimes, a new flood area appears. This roof is so old and needs emergency repairs.

Please help us to rebuilt the Aceh's center roof and sponsor classes so we can have a reasonable place to keep working in our mission with IHF.
