Please help us get our curry paste onto the shelves of stores.

My name is Ronel Naidoo, I am a cookbook Author, cook, food blogger and baker.

During last year sometime I decided to make a curry paste, because most of the people I know have struggles trying to find the right spices to cook with, or the spices are way too many for them to remember or to locate easily.

So one day after a good push from friends and family, I tried out a curry paste at home and took it to work with me the next day to share with all my collegues, so that they could try it out and give me some feedback.

A day later everyone came back to work extremly excited about this curry paste, and couldnt get over the amount of flavour, good taste and awesome smell this curry paste brought to their families and homes.

A few weeks later I decided to make a few bottles and sell them...just over 200 bottles.

These bottles reached Durban, Cape Town, Rustenburg, Witbank and went as far as Dubai.

A few stores had also tested them out with their customers and all came back saying they cannot wait to stock our magic curry paste.

The great responses kept coming and people all over kept requesting the paste. Some even went as far as ordering for a few months worth.

But during the end of that year we had hit a financial block, and couldnt continue with getting the supplies for the paste. Things got really tough on us and we had to try our hands at other things to earn a second and third income so that we could get bills paid.

Until now, I have realised that we needed help and that is why I am reaching out to anyone who wants to be a part of making this dream a reality and I will also pay forward once this paste has hit the shelves of stores.

I can promise that this curry paste will be your go to daily use in the kitchen. You will love every bit of it. It contains over 14 spices and fresh herbs. It can be used to make any curry, it can be added to stews to enhance flavour, it can be used as a rub on any type of meat, it can be added to marinades. Even those who dont know how to cook will find the use of this curry paste with ease, and your guests will think you took hours to prepare that delicious meal.

I am also going to do a special cookbook filled with recipes for this curry paste and I know everyone will appreciate that.

It is a large amount to start this business as we need to get a big enough rental premises, equipment, mixers, spice roasters, atleast 1 company vehicle if the monies raised is enough, kitchen utensils, office equipement, software, website, marketing, furniture, stationery, health and safety gear and uniforms, salaries, supplies of spices and bottles, packaging.

We are looking to provide employment for hundreds of people in the Gauteng region and will venture out eventually into the other provinces if needed. Especially during this time of hardships for so many people out there we hope to reduce some of the poverty.
