Help us get married!

Hi everyone! We are getting married in August 2014, and we got engaged April 13th of this year. After almost 6 years together, we have proven that our love can travel across oceans and continents. My marriage to my wonderful fiance isn't just to spend the rest of our lives together, or to make our love official, it's to prove that interracial and intercontinental relationships can work and be just as strong as anyone elses.

Sudeep's family is from India. Unfortunately, they've never been well to do, and all the money they did manage to save up over the years they used for their son to pursue his dream of going to school in America. Out of country tuition is expensive, and they've been left only enough for basic expenses and not given the opportunities at their age in India to do what we can. My parent's are not well-to-do either, are retired and can not contribute, so we're forced to pay for this wedding ourselves. On top of that, we have to pay for his parents airplane tickets to fly to the U.S. for our wedding, and pay for their hotel stays and food, everything. For a few months, we'll be a family of four instead of two.

He also wants some of his close friends from India to come, but they can't afford both airfare and hotel rooms. WE want everyone to be able to come but we just can't pay for everybody on his side as well all our stuff. Even $1000 will help pay for his parent's airfare and at least take off some of the burden. Even a little bit will help us, as we've had to increase our budget to something we can't really afford to accomodate our Indian guests.
