Treatment for brain tumors is extremely difficult with differing results.

There is a experimental treatment which has been showing life saving and astonishing results but is however expensive and we would need to self fund.

This treatment could be revolutionary and life saving, this is the single most important thing i have written or will ever write. We need your help.

Devax take a section of the brain through sergery, this is then flown to the US were they extract white blood cells. Once this has been done they grow a custom vaccine which evolves to attack the cancer cells in the brain.

The vaccine is bespoke and grown to each person. they have to shut the whole lab down each time they create the live vaccine .

The total cost for this incredible, grown breaking and potentially life saving treatment is around £120,000

How we got to here:

In 2013, around three months after the birth of our son, Jacob. we were told that Kat's brain tumor had progressed to a grade four. The most aggressive stage of Glioblastobma.

She when on to have a brain surgery (biopsy), chemotherapy and radiotherapy and in December 2013 it looked like good news!

However a few months later Kat's suffered further seizures and was taken to hospital, on Jacobs first birthday she was undertaking major brain surgery to have as much of the tumor removed as possible.

The following months leading to September 2014 were spent talking chemotherapy until we were told its wasn't working and there was no more that can be done.

This brings us close to were we are today. The heat breaking conversations that followed lead to exploring a number of clinical trials, she has been on a trial for the last 12 months, but its now no longer working, the tumor is again growing.

This revolutionary treatment could put an end to this forever and give us our lives back.
