"I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted." -Job 42:2
Days before Christmas 2021, the 15th storm to hit the Philippines, Typhoon Rai (Odette) has devastated the country specifically areas like Siargao, Cebu, Palawan and even the Northern tip of Mindanao. At least 140,000 were severely impacted and many villages were left destroyed underwater.
Our family is one of the millions affected by the said super storm. We lost our sole source of income which is our tent structure being utilized as an al-fresco dining site. Because of the said damages, our client has decided not to continue on with our services a few weeks after both sides invested on repairs and improvements. Our structure, unfortunately, isn't covered by insurance as well. This left us with no source of income, no resources to pull out the structure from the site, and no place to store the remainder of the structure incase we don't find any buyer soon. This is on top of the struggle of being in the pandemic for almost 2 years relying only on an event-heavy business.
We seek and knock at the doors of your hearts to help us get back on our feet as we face 2022 with hope in rebuilding our source of income to fund for our needs, obligations as well as our brother's education.
