Dear friends, we have left our permanent home as most of you are aware since October 2019 due to a very alarming situation of floods and between October and now we heard very little from this place as almost communication has been cut off but as expected the floods stopped and most roads are getting dry everyone is planning to go back to his place this is what happened to our house in the photos on this fundraiser the house cannot be occupied until some renovations is done like putting back the verandah back roof and plastering 80% of the house.
The following is the rough estimate by the contractors of what is needed to fix this house $15,000 to get everything to normal.
This area is not expected to flood this year as it was in the past five years another thing is that this house is where our purchased land is located and in March we can prepare and plant crops to feed ourselves which cannot be done from this distance as workers maybe expensive and transporting foods and workers would be extremely expensive for us while paying rent in the house where we are now staying.
The rented house where we stay now cost $1,500 per month and the contractors have confirmed that they need only thirteen days to return the house to normal if all the materials is in place.
Materials and labor cost $15,000, transport back to our home is $1,000 and seedlings $500 so we need a total of $16,500 to have the situation under control to get back and start feeding ourselves without renting this would give us much rest.
The contractors needs $6,000 for the work to start I ask you to pray and consider giving a donation to help us start out this great work to end most of the problems we have at the moment.
