In the heart of the Nepalese Himalayas there sits a small isolated and forgotten village called Jibajibe. This small community has little to no access to the outside world due to the geographic isolation the mountainous regions creates. Jibajibe and its neighbouring villages desperately need a school so that the countless children throughout the region can attend and help better their chances of success in an ever more competitive and harsh environment. The children in these communities have to walk hours to get to school and often in some of the most unimaginable conditions. A local school would help these kids spend more of their day doing what is important to them... STUDY. The amazing thing about these kids is that they all want to learn! The horrible fact of the matter is, that very few of them can afford to attend or live too far from the schools and hence are left out of the educational system. The proposed school to be built in the Jibajibe region will have an onsite dormitory to house those children who live too far away or to house those children who have lost their parents (very common in the treturous Nepalese landscape). To make this project come to fruition the "High Himalayan Community Projects" team needs your help. We need to raise $150 to construct this School and Dormitory. If you can make any contribution at all it would be greatly appreciated.
