Help Us Get A Swamp Cooler By Spring 2014

Hi, my name is DJ and I'm 16 years old and I live in Commerce City, Colorado. I live in a small trailer with my Dad. This morning, when I woke up my dad asked me to get on the roof and help him winterize our swamp cooler. As I was helping him, I noticed that the swamp cooler was rusted completely through on the inside and pointed it out to him. He said, "I know son, but it keeps getting worse every year and we can't afford to buy a new one and this one isn't going to last another summer."

When I was about 6 weeks old my mom was hit and killed in an auto pedestrian accident. My dad has raised me all by himself and money has always been tight. There is no way we can afford a new one by spring. My dad said we can only save about $50 dollars a month towards a new swamp cooler but that still leaves us $1,000 dollars short by spring when we will need a new one.

This is why I decided to take pictures of it and post our story online. Any help would be greatly appreciated and hopefully we can raise enough money to get a new swamp cooler by spring! Thank you so much!!
