Campaign Story
Our eldest sister, Joana Marie Santos, 35 years old, is a Person-With-Disability (PWD) who is psychosocially disable. She was diagnosed with demyelinating disease, a condition that results in damage to the protective covering (myelin sheath) that surrounds nerve fibers in the brain, optic nerves and spinal cord. When the myelin sheath is damaged, nerve impulses slow or even stop, causing neurological problems (google definition).
We are raising fund for her 4th hospital confinement; we are not from a well off family - we already spent all our savings and incurred loans to pay her 3 consecutive hospital confinements since December 2019. My family is now making all the legal ways possible to fund her 4th hospital confinement.
We will appreciate any help that will be extent to us. Accept our deepest thanks in advance!
