Help us fund Greg’s cancer treatment

Since we came to live in Crete 16 years ago we have very much been involved in animal rescue, but eighteen months ago my husband Greg suffered a stroke and has been unable to work since. Now he has been diagnosed with throat cancer and needs to start treatment immediately. Apart from all the diagnostic scans he will need 35 sessions of radiology, 5 days a week for 7 weeks, followed by 7 weeks of chemotherapy. The hospital is 80 kilometres away and he will need to be taken back and forth each day as after the treatment he won't be able to speak or eat and he will feel too unwell to drive. Before he can start treatment he needs to have a PET CT scan and this can only be performed in Athens and will cost €900, plus the airfares and because of the Covid regulations he will also need lateral flow and pcr tests every time he visits the hospital . We currently have 9 dogs and 12 cats (all rescues) living in our house and although we can feed and take care of them we do not have the money for the various cancer treatments. We desperately need help to fund Greg's treatment so he can carry on living his life and continue to take care of our animals.
