Help Us Fund For A Seabin In Hong Kong

Hello! We are Michelle, Rachel, and Sophia, we are raising money to fund a SeaBin that would be installed to help clean the water of Hong Kong. We will be purchasing a SeaBin from The Seabin Project.

10 million tons of plastic goes into the ocean every year. Oceans and lakes are polluted by various marine debris. We want to do what we can to help clean the ocean, so we decided to fund a SeaBin and install it in one of Hong Kong's marina clubs.

The Seabin Project is an organisation dedicated to cleaning waters through their machine, the SeaBins. Seabins are environmentally friendly trash skimmer or a filtration device that intercepts micro plastic, floating garbage, oil spills, and pollutants. It's made out of recyclable materials and can catch 1.4 tons of debris per year. The SeaBin pumps water in and through the filters so debris will be captured.

If we can't reach our target of donations, we will donate all the money funded to the SeaBin Foundation, where your donations will help Education Science, Research and Community projects that results in cleaner oceans.
