Please Help Us Fortify Our Jerusalem Apartment

Shalom, my name is Leah Raher. I am a resident of Jerusalem, Israel.

I share a ground floor apartment with my adult daughter. While the Iron Dome effectively protects us from missiles, we are currently extremely vulnerable to the possibility of being attacked in our home by intruders.

Hamas has called for East Jerusalem Arabs to break into Jewish homes and kill Israelis.

Throughout the country Israelis are reeling from an unprecedented occurrence of a massive number of enemy insurgents who have already succeeded in murdering 700 Israelis and taken countless others hostage.

It is imperative that we fortify our apartment with metal window blinds that lock that will protect us from shrapnel and terrorists and, replace our doors that are old and easily broken with security doors so that our apartment is secure and we can create an actual safe room to go to when the sirens sound or when the threat of intruders intensifies.

As a senior resident I am not able to run to a shelter in time.

We will need three doors and three metal window blinds in total.
