Help us educate children

The aim of this fund-raising is to gather funds to help the internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Eastern Congo. IDPs are persons who are forced to leave their homes to due to armed conflicts, generalized violence, but still remains within their country’s borders. They are moved to internment camps where they face many challenges such as lack of access to food, health services, adequate shelter, education and physical/sexual assault. According to the UNHCR, There are some 2.7 million internally displaced people (IDPs) within the country (Congo) in 2014 due to ongoing-armed conflict in the east. Unfortunately, the majority of the IDPs are women and children. Hence, Bread of peace is an NGO created with the aim of helping the IDPs. Our project is to sponsor the studies of one hundred and fifty children age from 6-12 years old. As you may already be aware, education plays an important role in the development of children and the development of the society. Educated children gain knowledge about the world they live in, preventative methods for numerous disease/infections, which enables them to better, take care of themselves and increases survival rate. With your donations, the dreams of the children who wish to study will become a reality. The money raised will be used to provide school supplies and pay school fees for the displaced children. "If you cannot help ten thousands children, at least help one."

Le but de cette levée de fonds est d'amasser les fonds pour aider les déplacés de guerre de l'Est de la RDC. Ces personnes ont été contraintes d'abandonner leurs villages, terres et maisons suite à la guerre et surtout aux violences perpétrées par les hommes en arme qui contrôlent plusieurs territoires des provinces de l'Est du Congo. Selon un rapport de HCR, la RDC compterait près de 3 millions de déplacés de guerre. Parmi eux beaucoup sont sans assistance et vivent dans des conditions inhumaines. Notre ONG BREAD OF PEACE a décidé de venir aider les enfants les plus vulnérables et les plus touchés. Notre projet est de financer la scolarité de 150 enfants parce que nous savons que l'éducation joue un rôle importants au développement d'un enfant et de sa société. Un enfant éduqué élargit ses connaissances par rapport au monde dans lequel il vit et lui permet de bien se munir et se former en augmentant ses chances de survie surtout dans cette région de guerre. Avec votre don, Les rêves de ces enfants deviendront réalité. L'argent amassé sera utilisé pour l'achat des matériels scolaires et pour le payement de leur minerval(frais scolaires).
