One of our neighbors is a black single mom of two who has been in and out of temporary housing with her kids for too long. Last year, she lost her grandmother who was the last family member and supporter she had. Until recently, she and her kids were enduring an abusive home situation and they were forced to make the incredibly difficult decision to leave, moving into their car.
She is working her butt off to get back on her feet and give her kids everything they need, and our community has stepped too to support them. But in order to bring this family autonomy and safety, they need stable income and permanent housing. We need your help to raise $5,000 to get her car repaired for work, put a down payment on an apartment, and buy food and school supplies for her kids. 100% of money raised will go directly to this family.
