We are Iliana and Nondas, a couple living in Greece with our son Michael and our dog Dida. We own a wonderful piece of land in Crete, situated among fields, ancient city ruins, open sky, with the sea on one side and mount Psiloritis on the other. We could describe it as a perfect little private fairy forest of oaks, carob trees, centenarian olive trees, beech trees. Our dream is to share its beauty with like-minded people, exploring life in nature without modern facilities, like it was before western people lost connection with mother earth. We want to offer you a place to retreat, recharge and reconnect with your true self, by interacting with nature, practicing spiritual teachings like Yoga and Reiki, feeding with mother's gifts, transforming daily chores into rituals, communicating with trees and birds, finding the relation between our nervous system and earth energy, listening to the silence, gazing at the amazing universe after sunset, embodying equity, solidarity, social justice and gratitude, living with the true meaning of time flow and so much more. This is our dream and we are asking for your help to make it real for us all.
Little needs to be done as an intervention in the site - as we said, it's already perfect. We need to have solar panels that will give us enough energy to be safe and a water supply for our hygiene. Few constructions will be made and they will be naturally built by earth and recycled materials. We have also made plans for a swimming pond and a practice deck by the wise centenarian olive tree. We are ready to work and make it all happen.
