Help us buy property to build a new cat shelter on

We have VERY IMPORTANT NEWS for all of you, who care about rescue cats. WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP.

We kindly ask you to help us, each and every donation is crucial as it helps us to reach our goal of buying a property where we can build a new cat shelter.

We DESPERATELY need this new shelter so that we can keep helping those, who need us the most.

Thursday, November 12, 2020, was a big day for us – we signed a contract to buy our second property and paid 10% of the final price. In a couple of years, this property will hold our beautiful and much-needed cat shelter.

The property, with an old house and two small outbuildings, is located in Celje and it has 2.100 m2 of building land. The municipality already provided us with a written approval assuring we are able to renovate existing buildings and build new ones to create the new cat shelter with all the associated premises. For us, this represents a dream property - exactly the kind we needed with a construction purpose that fits our own. Even the price is fair. Our plan is to renovate the existing premises and build additional ones.

We hope to have it ready for 2021! The final sale price is €100.000 with an additional €1.200 in agency costs. We managed to pay €10.000 with the donations for the shelter, however, we need to pay an additional €90.000 by January 6, 2021.

Even though we are aware of the risk of not raising enough funds, we dared to accept this offer as we trust we will be able to collectively raise enough funds to buy this new shelter – these kinds of opportunities are so rare, we didn’t dare to miss it.

We already had €54.413,63 for the purpose of purchasing real estate for the shelter and managed to raise over €28.000 through donations and 2021 calendar sales. To reach the final goal by January 6, 2021, we still need €18.000.

Instead of celebrating and sharing our joy and happiness, we would like to ask you to help us raise the rest since each and every input matters!
