Help us build our retreat & community project

In early 2006, our family bought a beautiful piece of land in the higher lands of Puerto Jiménez in the Osa Peninsula. It is a big piece of property that preserves more than 120 hectares of wildlife and primary forest. In March 2020 due to the pandemic, we reconnected with this land and started a greenhouse and different plantations of food. Spending time in such a pristine area made us feel like such amazing land must be shared with others. We heard the call of Mother Earth to come back to the basics of life, like planting your own food, living off the land in sustainable ways, as well as living in community with others by sharing this space with people who seek silence, healing, well-being, connection with nature and themselves as well as others.

We have started building three little bungalows and a communal bath and shower area. Also, we have been remolding and updating the existing structures, to make them suitable for holding future retreats, receiving guests, and friends.

Our dream is to build a space to share with people this amazing land, and to hold circles, workshops, or just be in community and in connection with people who walk the same path and seek a place to retire for a while, detox, or just be. We want to grow our food, cook with it wholesome meals, have an herb and medicinal garden, and learn about herbalism, have goats for milk and cheese, chickens for fresh eggs, etc.

We come to this platform to ask our friends to support us with building this dream/space which we wish to share with all of you at the end.

The current world situation is asking us to come back to basics, to be a community that supports each other in every possible way. You may want to help with money, but we are arms open to also receive any knowledge, volunteering hands for construction, childcare, permaculture, animal care, website design, etc; as well as any supportive loving energy, reiki, prayers, strength, courage, etc.

However, if you wish to donate monetarily, the funds will be used specifically for:
1. Materials for construction (We are building with bamboo and teak wood harvested from our farm)
2. Paying local workers (which also supports their families and the local economy)
3. Fix our access road to make it accessible year-round

We know that many people have woken up to realize that now is the time to come back to Mother Earth, and we are co-creating with similar projects that are now rising and developing around the world.

Since everything comes back to us, we will be more than happy and grateful to someday welcome each and every one of you to our little center.
