Hi, all! We'd like to ask for your help in funding our senior furbaby: Jade's anticipated vet hospital bill. Last year, around Ber months, we noticed her left eye reddening and swollen. When we went to the vet, she said that it might be a scratch on her eyes since her lab results went back normal and there are no changes in her behavior/condition. So the doctor gave her an eye drop antibiotic. After a few days, she got better. But earlier this year, we noticed that the same symptom returned. So, last February 9, we went to our vet here in Bulacan to get her eyes checked as we saw what seems to be a white scratch in her eyes. When the doctor checked, she said that her eyes are extremely red and since she got better from last year, she gave us antibiotics. She added that if after a few days of administering the antibiotics and there were no changes, she advised that that with Jade's current number of lumps on her body, she's also looking into a possibility of mass or lump inside her eyes. She advised us to look for vet hospitals in Manila to conduct a CT Scan and other lab tests to identify if there is a mass/lump and if it's cancerous. According to our vet, mass/lumps in the eyes or near the brain is really dangerous so we are really hoping to get help monetarily. Since CT Scans is scarce in the Philippines, especially in provincial areas, my 3 day search brought me to 2 hospitals. The comprehensive package that I found for the CT Scan is amounting to 67, 000 and I also found a hospital that offers a test called Oncotect wherein they take urine samples of your dog to test for cancer, this test is new in the Philippines and they are the first hospital to do so, this amounts to 15, 000. Other than that, we also need funding for transportation as we would need to rent a vehicle because we don't have our own car and the public vehicles in the Philippines are not pet-friendly. We are also a couple of hours away from the hospital locations as we reside in the province. Our family is aiming to raise at least 100, 000 pesos in total for all the anticipated vet bills and other possible added or hidden charges. Our family is hoping to have a clear diagnosis so we can stop fighting this blindly. We would be thankful for any of your help in finding a clear and accurate diagnosis so we can know our next steps.

Jade is our Labrador Retriever turning 11 years old this year. She was our first family dog and she's been with me since I was 13. She's a part of our family, experiencing several milestones with us. Like my high school graduation, my 18th birthday, college graduation, when I got my first job, when we got our first home, and many more. We'd love to still have her for longer and create more memories with her. We'd love to help her fight this sickness. She's been with us through our family's struggles and wins. This is the least we can do for her. She's a fighter since she survived Parvo when she was 2 months old and she's fought lots of medical issues after. I know that she can win this too but this time, with more help.

Thank you and God bless you all!
